10月13日，丹麦肥胖症药物研发企业Zealand Pharma宣布与生成式生物学公司Generate Biomedicines合作，后者获3,000万美元预付款、最高3,500万美元早期临床前里程碑付款，并有资格获得总计近12亿美元的里程碑款;10月14日，Vir Biotechnology与吉利德科学签下至多18.8亿美元的协议，Vir将用其dAIsY人工智能平台设计候选药物——仅这两笔，两天内合计已超过30亿美元。
